Team development

We are really proud of two members of the Kishorn Heritage team who have recently completed further studies as part of their professional development. Our office administrator, Rachel Birchall, has earned her BA (Hons) in Business Management while senior Site Manager, Ben Haywood, has passed his SCQF Level 12 in Construction Management and Civil Engineering. Well done to both!

Fellow members of the team, Gareth Harcus, who is a site manager, and Howard Burley, a general foreman, are both studying for their SVQ in Management while stonemason, John Widdows, and joiner, David Manson, are working towards their apprenticeships, with Liam Burnett set to start his joinery apprenticeship in the new year.

We believe that the success of each of our projects is testament to the passion, skill and continued personal and professional development of our team. At the heart of everything we do, we strive to provide our people with a nurturing, supportive working environment allowing them to thrive, grow and fulfil their ambitions and potential.

Our managing director, Daniel Tweats is a case in point. Starting out with the company as an apprentice joiner in 2007, he qualified in 2010 before going on to gain an Advanced Certificate in Construction Practice in 2011, an HND in Built Environment (Quantity Surveying) in 2013 and a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from Heriot Watt University in 2015.

If you are looking for a new challenge with an inclusive, caring, socially and environmentally responsible employer Kishorn Heritage would love to hear from you. We are always looking for individuals who share our passion for creating and restoring beautiful buildings and infrastructure.
